Another in an extensive procession of shoe endorsements is Über successful pop group the Black Eyed Peas with the Taboo X Jump luxury sneakers.
The sneaker line is a result of collaboration between Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas & footwear brand Jump.
The Black Eyed Peas quartet, consisting of Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap & Taboo, is one of the biggest selling acts across the globe with an estimated 28 million albums sold worldwide.
Don’t scuttle out to procure these just yet, the luxury sneakers priced at $298USD upwards were launched in New York last November & are currently only exclusively available at Bloomingdale’s & Saks Fifth Avenue in the Big Apple.
The Los Angeles-born Taboo (whose real name is Jaime Gomez) was, however, recently in Asia to officially launch the shoes in Japan & China.
“I met the main guys at Jump –I’m a huge fan of their shoes – and told them I would love to collaborate on a shoe line. I started building a relationship with them and within three months, it has resulted in the Taboo X Jump line,” said the sneaker addict who confesses to owning over 600 pairs of shoes.
If you manage to get your hands on them, the Taboo X Jump sneakers are available in four colours & feature exposed zippers & fake lizard trim in bold metallic hues.
